Eatonu2019s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Senior Field Service Representative. This role is located out of Mountainside, NJ. The expected annual salary range for this role is $99,000 - $145,200 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Eatonu2019s Engineering Service & Systems Divisionis seeking a Senior Field Service Representative to join our team. Eaton has the largest and most experienced team of field services technicians and engineers in the industry, and we are looking to grow our team. What youu2019ll do: u2022 Support customers across the power system lifecycle: startup, commissioning support, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, upgrades, and emergencies u2022 Manage small projects independently and lead FSR teams on larger projects u2022 Generate timely and accurate service reports on work, product performance, and warranties u2022 Provide recommendations for improved electrical systems u2022 Cultivate strong relationships with customers, team members, and partners u2022 Mentor less experienced technicians u2022 Utilize digital tools for remote work, including laptops, iPads, IR cameras, Google Glasses, MS Teams, and more Team Benefits: u2022 Guaranteed 40-hour base pay, eligible for overtime and travel premiums u2022 Career growth, mentorship and safety training u2022 Company vehicle, toolkit, and phone u2022 Tuition assistance for ongoing learning u2022 Leads program with bonus pay u2022 Opportunities across 32 service branches Qualifications: Basic Qualifications u2022 High school diploma or higher with a minimum of 3 years of experience testing, troubleshooting, evaluating, and servicing electrical distribution and control systems, or in lieu of HS diploma or GED, completion of accredited trade school and/or program completion with 7 or more years of experience evaluating and servicing electrical distribution or control systems u2022 Experience in testing, troubleshooting, evaluating, and servicing electrical distribution and control systems u2022 Must be able to work in the US without corporate sponsorship now or in the future u2022 No relocation offered, candidates within 50-mile radius considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation u2022 Must have a valid driver's license Preferred Qualifications u2022 Associate degree or higher from an accredited institution u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution u2022 Electrical or General Contractoru2019s License u2022 Professional Engineering License u2022 Experience performing power quality measurements, troubleshooting, analysisas well as protective relays u2022 NICET/NETA certification Skills: Position Success Criteria: u2022 Successfully complete and maintain compliance with Eatonu2019s safety program and policy; This includes role-applicable portions of the EESS Qualified Electrical Worker (QEW) program and any required annual re-certifications thereafter u2022 Submit to periodic customer required background and drug screenings u2022 Must have the ability to work variable hours, including nights & weekends, and travel within the district/state/region/country based on customer requirements. u2022 This position requires you to drive an Eaton vehicle u2022 Must be able and willing to obtain Department of Transportation (DOT) non-CDL qualification and comply with all DOT regulatory requirements, if required. u2022 Understands 3-phase power systems and low, medium, and high voltage power distribution equipment. u2022 Performs physically demanding tasks, requirement to stand, walk, stoop, squat, kneel, and reach above, to, and below shoulder level, lift, carry, push, pull, and use hands to handle and feel. Frequently required to climb. Regularly required to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds. Occasionally required to push/pull > 50 pounds with assistance. May be required to drive extended distances, work in extreme weather and temperature conditions, work at sites with areas that have poor lighting, ventilation, and dust and/or be exposed to high noise levels. u2022 Ability to obtain and maintain a valid TWIC card u2022 Proficient with hand and power tools for equipment assembly u2022 Strong problem-solving and logical thinking skills u2022 Works well under time constraints and in stressful situations u2022 Explain technical problems and solutions u2022 Collaborates effectively with the team to meet project deadlines We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for job applicants and employees.
