The General Service Technician is responsible for performing basic routine vehicle repair and maintenance services in accordance with company standards and manufacturer specifications. This position is expected to deliver exceptional 5 Star service to our guests, through effective communication of vehicle issues and proposed solutions while ensuring that guest expectations for time commitments and quality areu00a0consistently met.u00a0 INDR6 Qualifications: Automotive Assistant Manager + High school or GED equivalent. + 2+ years of automotive and sales experience + Valid Driver License + Ability to work with hands overhead, stand for long periods and lift 50 lbs. + Excellent communication skills and basic algebra to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions proportions, and percentages. + Guest and team focused mindset Automotive Technicianu00a0 + High School Diploma or equivalent.u00a0 + Automotive training including basic car maintenance and repair or the equivalent combination of education and experience.u00a0 + ASE certification and State Inspection license (where applicable) preferred.u00a0 + Must possess a current valid driveru2019s license and have a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)and have the ability to operate customeru2019s vehicles to conduct test drives.u00a0 + Required to own a basic set of tools or participate in Monrou2019s tool purchase program.u00a0 Note: Monro conducts criminal background checks for positions with security and/or financial responsibilities in accordance with applicable laws.
