Department Manager- 1rst Shift

Work Schedule: Must be open to any schedule 1st Shift- Monday -Thursday 5:30 am-4:00 pm 5th shift- Wednesday- Friday 5:00 pm - 5:30 am u2022 Leadership Expectation: Department Manager is expected to arrive 1 hour before shift start and stay 1 hour after shift end. _Dollar Tree's_ _fully automated retail distribution center located in_ _Windsor, CT, is_ _currently looking for_ _Department_ Managers _to add to our Warehouse Management team so they can_ _lead a team of warehouse associates in successfully meeting operational goals within an assigned department and across an assigned shift. This position is essential to ensuring we can meet our production goals in a fast-paced 24/7/365 operation._ Warehouse Management at Dollar Tree is responsible for: Managing and overseeing up to 20 warehouse associates, ensuring they are working proficiently and safely in various departments in the distribution center to include: + Receiving u2013 all merchandise is scheduled, received, unloaded, and checked into the distribution center + Order Selection u2013 product is replenished, selected, and labeled + Shipping u2013 merchandise is scanned, loaded, and shipped + Equipment u2013 product is moved and slotted safely and properly using forklifts, palette jacks, and others equipment What we need from you: + Three (3) or more years of warehouse management experience in a high volume, automated distribution environment. + Ability to lead by example, mentor, develop, and foster a team environment. + Ability to understand and demonstrate proper technical, equipment, and systems processes. + Ability to work any shift. + Strong organizational and communication skills.
