Job Description: POSITION OVERVIEW: Allied Universalu00ae Technology Services is hiring an Embedded Technician for an automotive enterprise client to drive our mission of being the world's most trusted service provider. The technician will perform service, maintenance, repair, and diagnostics on access control systems and IP-based video equipment, including electrified/non-electrified locks, card readers, IP/analog cameras, intercoms, video recorders, and wired/wireless systems. The role supports an enterprise-level client, with travel expectations in the local area. + Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 hourly + Other Benefits: Company vehicle, gas card, laptop and cell phone + Relocation: On a case-by-case scenario, seeking candidates with availability to relocate + Certification(s): Preferred Milestone or SoftwareHouse/CCURE WHAT TO EXPECT AS AN EMBEDDED TECHNICIAN: + Travel to various local commercial sites for the client to service, identify, repair, troubleshoot, and detect access control equipment and IP-based video security systems. Including but not limited to: + Electrified/non-electrified locks, card readers, ancillary door devices + IP/analog cameras, head-end video recording devices + Wired/wireless systems and intercom systems + Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues efficiently and effectively to ensure company compliance, standards and building codes, as well as company safety policies and procedures + Execute, document and track service-related issued through ServiceNow in accordance with Federal, State, and local regulations + Interpret electrical schematics, CAD drawings and related documents for use in low-voltage applications + Provide phone and on-line remote diagnostic support with a high level of customer service to both internal and external clients + Collaborate and perform tasks with other internal teams and clients as required QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVES): + High school diploma or equivalent + Minimum of two (2) years of field experience in the electronic security industry + Knowledge and experience streamlining service tickets for client nationwide + Available for schedule
