What Youu2019ll Do As a Land Development Designer, youu2019ll play a key role in turning raw land into thriving communities. Your responsibilities will include: + Design Excellence: Prepare detailed construction documents for civil infrastructureu2014site plans, profiles, erosion control, stormwater systems, and more. + Utility Layouts: Design underground utilities including chilled/hot water, steam, power systems, domestic water, and sanitary sewer. + Site Development: Develop layouts for large-scale mechanical and electrical systems, grading, and stormwater management. + Collaboration: Work closely with civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers to deliver integrated solutions. + Technology-Driven Design: Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to bring your concepts to life. + Field Engagement: Conduct site visits to assess conditions and monitor construction progress. + Project Support: Assist with due diligence, research, design development, and project submittals. + Communication: Prepare clear, compelling design reports and act as a liaison between design staff and Project Managers. What You Bring + Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D. + Solid experience in land and site development. + Strong understanding of grading, stormwater management, and subdivision design. + BS in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution. + 3+ years of hands-on experience in civil site design and project coordination. + Expertise in water/sewer mains, mass grading, roadway design, erosion control, and storm drainage. + Familiarity with surveying principles, construction techniques, and regulatory requirements. + PE or EIT certification (or actively working toward it). Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
