The Position:We're looking for a Solar Project Manager responsible for: Independentand autonomous management of solar construction projects of varioussizes and complexities from pre-construction to project closeout usingcompany processes and procedures resulting in meeting or exceedingplanned profits Understanding Project Management process and toolsincluding: project scheduling, financial reporting and budgetmanagement, project communications plan, contracts, BIM tools, and otherproject related processes Manage all financial aspect of projectsListening to client and subcontractor concerns, identify issues andreact accordingly Provide conceptual information to groups to illustrateideas and concepts Facilitate and lead productive/effective meetingsPreparation of project baseline schedules and schedule updates throughthe life of the project; using actual versus baseline to substantiatedelays and impacts as appropriate Project financial budget vs. actualstracking, management, and mitigation Field productivity trackingestimate vs. actual, and course correction to protect labor budget andproject profit Project safety ownership including weekly audits andincident investigation and reporting; positive contributor to companysafety culture Identification of project impacts and delays, timelynotifications per the contract documents, and detailed documentationpreparation to prepare and submit claims Problem solving, understand theroot cause of problems, develop solutions, and follow throughimplementation Comprehend complex concepts of a project and managefor...
