This position ensures efficiency of equipment with tablet compression by setting up, cleaning, operating and maintaining equipment with cGMPs and SOPs. Candidate will participate in developing and monitoring the process to improve uptime and efficiencies.Ability to understand, follow, and perform accurately all instructions written in the batch production recordUnderstandand perform all job functions in accordance with cGMPs and SOPsPerform material handling of bulk tablets and coating solutions as specified on Manufacturing OrdersEnsure that all products that are Coated conform to specifications as set forth in the batch production recordOperate forklift and pallet jacksMaintain work are in a clean, well organized conditionTrain or have a qualified associate to train new associatesEngage as a team member and ability to use Lean Sigma Tools; i.e. FMEA, DMAIC, 7 Wastes, etc.High School Diploma or GEDAbility to operate material handling equipmentAbility to speak,write and comprehend simple instructions in EnglishHave good math skills, including fractions, decimals, computing rate, ratio and percentGood problem solving skillsGood communication skills (both written and verbal)Legible handwritingExcellent time management and organizational skillsWillingness to learn and perform new job functionsOvertime required when needed (including weekends)History of good attendance required with a history of dependability and responsibilitiesGood attendance; must be flexible to assist with workloads without notice for planned/unplanned absences
