Accounts Receivable Specialist/ Collections

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Everett, Washington. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong skills in managing accounts receivable processes, including collections and cash applications. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in ensuring accurate billing and maintaining effective communication with clients. Responsibilities: u2022 Process and reconcile cash applications to maintain accurate financial records. u2022 Conduct timely collections of outstanding payments from commercial clients. u2022 Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and address overdue balances. u2022 Manage billing functions to ensure invoices are issued correctly and on time. u2022 Track and analyze cash activity to support financial operations. u2022 Collaborate with internal teams to resolve payment discrepancies and improve processes. u2022 Maintain detailed and organized documentation of all accounts receivable transactions. u2022 Communicate effectively with clients to address payment inquiries and establish strong relationships. u2022 Support the preparation of reports related to accounts receivable metrics and performance. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable and collections. u2022 Proficiency in cash applications and commercial collections processes. u2022 Strong understanding of billing procedures and accounts receivable aging. u2022 Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. u2022 Ability to analyze and interpret financial data. u2022 Effective communication skills for client interactions and internal collaboration. u2022 Proficiency in relevant accounting software and tools. u2022 Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
