Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Everett, Washington. This is a Contract to permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity for career growth and development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing accounts payable processes, with the ability to handle a high volume of transactions efficiently. Responsibilities: u2022 Process and manage vendor payables, ensuring timely and accurate payments. u2022 Handle invoice coding and reconciliation for a high volume of transactions weekly. u2022 Utilize software tools such as Tipalti and Ramp to streamline accounts payable workflows. u2022 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and address discrepancies. u2022 Assist in developing and implementing efficient workflows and procedures for the accounts payable team. u2022 Manage credit card payments and resolve any issues related to vendor transactions. u2022 Perform data analysis using Excel tools such as VLOOKUPs and pivot tables. u2022 Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations in all accounts payable activities. u2022 Support the onboarding of suppliers and manage vendor-related documentation. u2022 Provide guidance and mentorship to entry level team members, fostering a collaborative work environment. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field. u2022 Proficiency in accounts payable software, preferably Tipalti or Ramp. u2022 Strong knowledge of invoice coding, reconciliation, and vendor payment processes. u2022 Ability to handle high transaction volumes, processing 200+ invoices weekly. u2022 Experience with Excel tools such as VLOOKUPs and pivot tables. u2022 Self-motivated and capable of working independently while managing multiple tasks. u2022 Excellent communication and organizational skills to collaborate effectively with departments. u2022 Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments and vendor management.
