Sr. Strategic Sourcing Specialist

As a Senior Strategic Sourcing Specialist here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in developing and executing sourcing strategies to drive cost savings, improve supplier performance, and ensure supply chain continuity. You will be for working as part of a high-performance team of sourcing professionals, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, and managing supplier relationships to achieve business objectives. You will report directly to our Senior Director of Strategic Sourcing. on a Hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the company by driving cost savings through strategic sourcing initiatives, optimizing supplier relationships, and implementing best practices in procurement and supply chain management. As a key team member, you will continuously work to build a strong, diverse supply base. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES u2022 Develop and execute sourcing strategies to drive cost savings and improve supplier performance. u2022 Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business requirements and align sourcing strategies. u2022 Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships. u2022 Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes and practices. u2022 Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. YOU MUST HAVE u2022 2+ years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, Project Management or Finance. u2022 Proven history of driving cost savings and supplier performance improvement. u2022 Excellent negotiation and contract management skills. u2022 Experience in electrical and electronics sourcing / procurement WE VALUE u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in business, Supply Chain, or related field. u2022 Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. u2022 Knowledge of best practices in procurement and supply chain management. u2022 Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. u2022 Ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams. u2022 Experience with supplier relationship management and supplier development.
