CNC Machinist and Programmer $35 - $50/HR Odon, IN Job Description Join our dynamic team as a CNC Machinist and Programmer, where you will play a pivotal role in crafting precision parts using cutting-edge technology. Your expertise in Mastercam programming and SolidWorks interpretation will be crucial in setting up and operating CNC mills. Responsibilities + Program CNC machines using Mastercam and interpret CAD models from SolidWorks. + Set up and operate CNC mills to produce precision parts. + Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications. + Utilize G and M codes for machine programming and troubleshooting. + Perform quality checks using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges. + Maintain machines to ensure optimal performance and accuracy. Essential Skills + 3+ years of CNC machining experience in a precision manufacturing environment. + Proficiency in Mastercam programming. + Ability to interpret CAD models from SolidWorks. + Experience with G and M codes. + Skilled in using precision measuring tools. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with 4 and 5 axis CNC mill machines. + Knowledge of high-performance engine components, aerospace, and/or automotive manufacturing. + Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.
