Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAs an Outside Sales Representative, you will have the opportunity to showcase your ability to call on and provide services to Wholesale and non-wholesale customers. Other duties to include promoting and advancing company marketing/sales programs as appropriate and requested and developing and creating new opportunities for sales through cold calls of new customers and accounts. JOB DUTIES:Call on customers per the schedule/strategy created with the Store Manager or other members of the management teamServe retail and wholesale customers to make Auto Value the first call for parts Maintain awareness and knowledge of current sales and sales targetsConduct sales transactions with adherence to store/company policies and proceduresComplete all related reports accurately and on timeParticipate in training programs, learning about our products, our programs and our customersRepresent Auto Value in a professional and positive mannerAssist other store team members as needed MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum of three years of related experience and must have a thorough knowledge of the auto parts business and sales approachesStrong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skillsAbility to effectively communicate with all employees as well as customers, vendors and visitors Ability to function in a stressful environment, under substantial time pressure Strong organizational skillsKnowledge of desktop computer programs, including Microsoft Word and ExcelValid drivers license and acceptable driving recordBenefits:MedicalDentalVisionBasic Life and Long-Term DisabilityVoluntary Life InsuranceShort Term Disability401k and company matchProfit SharingPTOSafe and Sick TimeEmployee DiscountEAP (employee assistance program)Commission/sales incentive
