This Electrical/Controls Maintenance Technician position is part of the protein and salt business, providing high-quality food products to food service operators, grocery stores, manufacturers, and exporters.What You'll GetWeekly Attendance Bonus for hours workedComprehensive Benefits Package: Medical, Dental, Vision, and Prescription Drug InsuranceHealth & Wellness IncentivesPaid Vacation & Holidays401(k) with Company MatchingFlexible Spending Accounts (FSAs)Short-Term Disability & Life InsuranceEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Tuition ReimbursementExclusive Employee DiscountsKey ResponsibilitiesEnsure manufacturing process reliability by maintaining electrical and mechanical equipment.Perform preventative maintenance, including annual PMs and troubleshooting of mechanical/electrical systems.Follow and uphold safety, health, and environmental policies.Operate standard maintenance tools, electrical testing equipment, and power tools safely and effectively.Read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics with precision.Troubleshoot and repair 480 VAC 3-phase motor controls, 120 VAC, and 24VDC control circuits.Identify and address potential maintenance issues proactively.Support LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) certification and procedures.Maintain and troubleshoot PLC, analog, and digital control devices and sensors.Work with Allen-Bradley programming and troubleshooting.Assist in establishing and implementing preventative maintenance procedures for plant instrumentation and electronic-controlled equipment.Accurately document work orders, deficiencies, and corrective actions.What Were Looking ForRequired:High School Diploma or GED equivalentElectrical/Maintenance Journeyman License (State of Michigan)3+ years of manufacturing maintenance experienceExperience troubleshooting PLCs and Ladder LogicStrong electrical & mechanical aptitudeAbility to read & interpret blueprints, P&IDs, and wiring schematicsWillingness to be part of the Hazmat teamAbility to work weekends and off-shift hours as neededPreferred:Experience in a food processing environmentComputer literacy with eagerness to learn SAP/PPE systemsAbility to use calibration equipment (RTD calibrators, multi-meters, 4-20ma calibration units, etc.)Experience with Allen-Bradley programming and troubleshootingFamiliarity with serial communications and industrial control devicesJoin Our Team!If you're a skilled Electrical/Controls Maintenance Technician looking for a rewarding opportunity with competitive pay, great benefits, and a fantastic work environment, apply today!Equal Opportunity Employer, including Disability/Veterans.
