Laundry Washer

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Other duties may be assigned:Sort, wash, dry, fold and store all linens, towels and other washable items.Properly and safely uses all soaps, chemicals and equipment for cleaning linens, towels and other items.Keeps all areas of the laundry room and its equipment clean and organized.Assists Hotel Housekeepers as needed.Ensures proper department uniform, appearance and grooming standards are followed.Keep inventory of all items.Attends all company required training.Complies with all Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission Rules and Regulations and any other local, state, or federal guidelines.Adheres to all safety guidelines.Meets company attendance requirements.May be required to work days, weekends and holidays.Excellent customer service skills are essentialMust be able to work independently.Must be able to work cohesively with co-workers and work as a team.Ability to carry out instructions.Ability to maintain a positive attitude towards customers, co-workers and other department staff.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: NoneQUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
