Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are searching for skilled and experienced Wind Technicians with solid experience working with major components who can conduct heavy rigging operations to facilitate replacement components. This role requires in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in handling various types of maintenance and diagnosing issues to ensure optimal functionality of wind turbines. We are seeking experienced Wind Turbine Technicians with knowledge from a variety of platforms. In this position, you must be able to repair mechanical, hydraulic, and/or electrical component replacements.Troubleshoot and repair significant corrective operational issues on utility-sized wind turbines per the project description.Conduct heavy rigging operations to facilitate replacement components.Perform all large component exchanges in accordance with specified procedures.Perform repairs on mechanical, hydraulic, and/or electrical component replacements to correct malfunctions.Properly utilize and maintain all mandated safety equipment.Represent the company culture of safety, quality, and integrity daily.Comply with all safety rules in accordance with company, customer, and government regulations and guidelines.Exhibit positive, courteous behavior with customers, contractors, suppliers, and co-workers.Accurately complete and submit required service reports, timecards, expense reports, and other required company reports in a timely manner for the onsite team.Willingness to continually embrace personal and professional development.Schedule:10 hour shiftHolidaysMonday to FridayOvertimeWeekends as neededExperience:Wind turbine maintenance: 2 years (Required)License/Certification:Driver's License (Required)No DUIs allowedWillingness to travel:100% (Required)Work Location: On the roadRequirementsQualifications:Two years of experience doing large corrective workFundamental electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical skillsAbility to read and understand schematics by various wind turbine manufacturersAbility to climb 300 feet or more regularlyCompletion of all required training in a satisfactory manner and timeframeAbility to lead and participate in on-the-job training with on-site personnelAbility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as neededAbility to Regularly work 50+ hours a weekBasic computer skillsAbility to travel for up to 6 weeks at a timeAbility to lift 50+ pounds regularlyAbility to work in inclement weatherEducation:High School DiplomaOSHA 10 or OSHA 30, NFPA 70E, First Aid/CPR, and Tower Rescue certificates preferredBenefitsJob Type: Full-timePay: $28.00 - $37.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offReferral programRetirement planTuition reimbursementVision insurance
