Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Description:Responsibilities:Ensure the safety and well-being of residents, focusing on mental health and recovery.Foster a supportive, recovery-focused environment that promotes positive behaviors.Facilitate individual and group recovery sessions to encourage personal growth.Assist with the Academy, supporting residents in achieving their educational goals.Escort and supervise off-site activities, including recreation, AA/NA meetings, and appointments.Administer urinalysis, conduct room and personal audits, and manage medication distribution, maintaining accurate records.Support residents with responsibilities such as food service, transportation, and vehicle maintenance.Communicate regularly with families, clinicians, and other team members to provide updates on residents' progress.Develop and implement personalized recovery plans, tracking progress over time.Maintain detailed documentation of resident interactions and development.Support the Executive Director in developing transition plans for residents, including education, employment, and living arrangements.Provide crisis intervention and emergency support as needed.Organize on-site and off-site recreational activities that promote engagement and recovery.Plan and coordinate family days, special events, and holiday celebrations aligned with recovery goals.Maintain recreational equipment and materials to ensure safety and usability.Collaborate with Certified Recovery Specialists to incorporate recreation into individualized recovery plans.Develop and maintain relationships with equipment vendors and donors to support recreational programming.Perform additional duties as assigned by the Executive Director or leadership team.QualificationsCertified Recovery Specialist (CRS) credential preferred, or willingness to obtain.Experience working with adolescents in recovery, mental health, or residential treatment settings is preferred.Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with residents and team members.Ability to maintain structure, accountability, and compassion in a recovery-based environment.Valid driver's license and ability to transport residents to appointments and activities.CPR, First Aid, or other relevant certifications (or willingness to obtain).Commitment to personal and professional growth, including participation in training and development opportunities.
