Pipettor Repair and Calibration Technician

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionLaboratory Products Sales, Inc, is looking to hire an instrument calibration and repair technician. Pipettors are handheld liquid handling instruments used in medical and academic research laboratories. Our company is well known and respected in the industry and the person we hire will go through extensive training and certification.The successful candidate must have a focused attention to detail, be able to read and work with precision balances, computers, calibration software, and the ability to generate reports. The ability to work within a team as well as independently is essential, as well as the dexterity to work with small parts and components. Travel to customer locations will be required with 3-4 days of travel per month and overnight stays as necessary.The successful candidate will be required to have a clean, valid NY State driver's license and a dependable vehicle. The company will reimburse mileage, meals and hotel while traveling.
