Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAbout the Role:As a Patient Access Representative (Registrar) at our medical center, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our patient registration process. You will be responsible for accurately collecting and entering patient information into our electronic medical records system, verifying insurance coverage, and obtaining necessary authorizations. Additionally, you will be the first point of contact for patients and their families, providing exceptional customer service and answering any questions they may have. Your attention to detail and ability to multitask will be essential in this role, as you will be working in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of patients.Minimum Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentStrong computer skills and ability to learn new software quicklyExcellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to multitask and work in a fast-paced environmentPreferred Qualifications:Experience with electronic medical records systemsKnowledge of medical terminologyExperience working in a hospital or medical center settingResponsibilities:Collect and accurately enter patient information into electronic medical records systemVerify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizationsProvide exceptional customer service to patients and their familiesAnswer questions and provide information to patients and their familiesMaintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulationsSkills:In this role, you will utilize your strong attention to detail and organizational skills to accurately collect and enter patient information.
