Job DescriptionJob DescriptionTitle: Tool & Die MakerSalary Range: $30.00 - $40.00 per hourSummaryOur Client is seeking an experienced Tool & Die Maker to build, repair, and maintain high-speed progressive dies and plastic injection molds. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.Key ResponsibilitiesConstruct, repair, and troubleshoot dies, molds, and related machinery.Interpret blueprints and part prints; apply knowledge of geometric tolerances.Operate and maintain metalworking tools (drills, mills, grinders, lathes).Inspect work using precision measuring instruments to ensure quality standards.Maintain a safe and organized workspace.Train and mentor apprentices as needed.QualificationsCompletion of a 4-year state apprenticeship or equivalent experience (5-10 years) as a tool and die or mold maker.Proficient in the use of inspection and production equipment.Strong understanding of tool steels, heat treatment, and geometric tolerances.Familiarity with EDM, HSM, and CAD software; proficiency in Microsoft Office.Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
