Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are a growing business that has been here since 1992 and has now changed ownership this April. We are looking for a Architectural Draftsman/Estimator with experience. Drawing will be done with a Softplan CAD drawing program. New Rockford NDPrimary Responsibilities: Architectural Drafting,Estimating. To work with clients on house plans, shop plans, additions. Helping them through their projects from the planning stages to completion. Estimating the materials needed and selling the project.Day to day customer sales, measure and estimate projectsPartner with customers to develop long-term relationships, generate additional sales, and guide problem resolution and discussionsStay informed on industry trends and informationProduct training:Develop professional relationships within the respective organizationsAssist in the operations of the Lumber Yard as neededBasic Qualifications:Must have experienceExcellent communication and team building skills, with an ability to listen to customer needs and provide solutions.Ability to multi-task with conflicting priorities in a pressured environment while maintaining a customer-oriented demeanorAbility to read blueprints & do takeoffsKnowledge of the construction industryPrevious building supplies sales experience is a plusPrevious background in home construction & building supplies is a plusComputer skills with knowledge of basic office systemsValid drivers license is requiredSelf-directed and able to prioritize and meet deadlines with professional quality resultsAbility to think proactively, anticipate customer needs and ask for and close the saleFull-time PositionCompensation:$20.00 to $28.00 per hour DOEYearly Sales Commissions401(k) w/Employer matching up to 3%Employer Paid Disability and Life InsuranceEmployer Paid Single Health insurance or Partial single w/Dep or FamilyPaid time off (both PTO and sick leave)Schedule:Monday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate - New Rockford ND#hc91433
