We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Field Technician to oversee quality operations for our client in Snyder, TX. If you're a proactive problem solver with a strong background in QA/QC, this is an excellent opportunity to make a lasting impact.Job DetailsHourly Rate: $48/hrPer Diem: $110/day (7 days/week) if over 50 miles from project locationCompletion Bonus: $150/monthPay: WeeklySchedule: Monday - Friday | 5 x 10s | 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM | 50 hours/weekProject ScopePerform QC inspections of electrical and civil productsThe role will evolve as the project transitions from civil to electrical phasesQualificationsMinimum 3 years of QA/QC experience in industrial construction (oil & gas, energy, utilities, or heavy civil)Preferred certifications (not required):AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA)Six Sigma Green Belt or Black BeltNACE or API certificationsKey ResponsibilitiesOversee QA/QC processes across construction phases, with an initial focus on civil and electricalManage quality documentation: inspection reports, weld logs, material traceability, testing recordsServe as liaison between field teams, safety staff, and SMEs to ensure timely resolution of issuesConduct regular audits and field inspections for compliance with specs and applicable codes (ASME, AWS: B31.1, B31.3)Identify non-conformances, perform root cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and follow upCoordinate with third-party inspectors and client QA/QC representatives as neededSupport safety initiatives and participate in toolbox talks focused on quality practicesPromote and maintain a quality-first culture on-siteSkillsStrong public speaking and communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)Strong organizational and multitasking capabilitiesAbility to work independently and collaborativelyOSHA outreach training experience (preferred)High degree of professionalism and discretionEqual Opportunity EmployerSheakley is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all individuals, regardless of race, color, religion, age, sex, marital status, national origin, disability, or any other protected status.Ready to make an impact?
