Lumber Mill General Labor

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionEntry-level position to perform general lumber mill responsibilities including stacking lumber, driving a forklift, moving inventory, and verifying inventory counts.Principle/Main Responsibilities and Tasks:Prior experience in a mill and/or wood production work environmentOperate machine or basic equipment Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures & regulationsPerform basic maintenance to equipment (hydraulic fluid, etc.)Make sure all electrical panels are shut off before working on equipmentOther duties as assignedMinimal Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:Prior experience in a mill and/or wood production work environment preferredMay include climbing, pushing, kneeling and lifting heavy itemsMust be able to lift dimensional lumber to 50 lbs.Must be able to operate a forklift
