Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSmithville is looking for a Construction Technician to join our team in Ellettsville, Indiana. Construction Technicians safely use a variety of hand and power tools along with machinery and equipment to install, maintain, and repair services for our customers. The Construction Technician completes construction tasks for the companys copper and fiber optic plants while working to meet project deadlines successfully. Check out what a day in the life of a Construction Technician can look like by watching our video: HereRESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Safely operate equipment such as: trucks, tractors, mini-excavators, boring machines, trenchers, sneakers (vibratory plows), fiber blowers, forklifts, lawnmowers, and other equipment.Climb utility poles and lift equipment weighing up to eighty (80) pounds.
