Job DescriptionJob DescriptionMacedon Veterinary Care located near Rochester NY is looking for an Associate VeterinarianPart-time or Full-time opportunities available Offering: Competitive base salary with production bonus, relocation assistance, signing bonus and other amazing benefits! Macedon Veterinary Care is located in Wayne County, only 30 minutes east of Rochester and close to the Finger Lakes region. Macedon Veterinary Care provides primary care services to the pets of Wayne County as well as the surrounding counties. Due to our growing practice, we relocated to a state-of-the-art facility in the summer of 2017. As our business continues to grow, we are looking to add additional square footage late 2025 which would allow for more exam rooms and a private end of life room. Our staff provides an advanced and progressive approach to medicine that is exclusive to the area. Additionally, our entire staff (5 Vets, 8 vet techs and 2 assistants) are Fear Free certified professionals. More information at THE HOSPITAL5,000 sq. ft. building with five exam rooms, a treatment area, a hospital ward, dental suite and a surgery suite.In-house laboratory capability includes limited chemistries and CBCs with the Idexx VetTest and Lasercyte; Sedivue Urinalysis system; fecal flotation by centrifugation, 4DX and FELV/FIV snap tests; close relationship and fast results with Idexx reference laboratory and Cornell University Animal Health Diagnostic Center.In-house ECG capability.Surgical laserTherapeutic laserTwo Midmark dental VetPro unitsDigital dental X-rayRadiography with most current Idexx programUltrasound capability in-house. Also, close relationships with referral radiologists.Complete and well-stocked pharmacy with established pharmaceuticals as well as many of the latest developments.Newest version of AVImark computerization for the management of a client database of over 8,900 and over 15,000 animals.Outdoor activities in Wayne County include walking or biking along the Erie Canal trail system, hiking at Chimney Bluffs State Park along Lake Ontario, and enjoying Sodus Point Beach Park when the weather is warmer as well as all the offerings in the Finger Lakes region.
