This role requires expertise in general ledger systems, financial reporting, and data analysis to ensure accuracy and efficiency in all financial processes. Based in Dunkirk, New York, this position offers the opportunity to contribute to strategic financial decision-making and organizational success.Responsibilities: Maintain and oversee the general ledger system to ensure accurate financial data and seamless integration with subsystems. Prepare and deliver timely financial statements, ensuring compliance with established standards. Analyze general ledger account balances to identify discrepancies and propose actionable solutions. Collaborate with the Director of Finance to prioritize and delegate staff assignments effectively. Provide data-driven insights to support organizational decision-making and financial planning. Assist in managing hospital data and performing detailed financial analyses as needed. Utilize accounting software systems to optimize financial operations and reporting processes. Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal policies. Contribute to continuous improvement efforts within financial operations. Proven experience in financial analysis and general ledger management. Proficiency in accounting software systems and financial reporting tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate financial data. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines. Familiarity with healthcare industry financial practices is preferred. Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness.
