Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are currently seeking a qualified Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for performing a wide range of facility and equipment maintenance tasks, as well as fabricating tools and fixtures to support various operational areas.RequirementsMaintain and repair electrical systems, steam boilers, air compressors, and HVAC systems Service and repair company vehicles, including tractors and forklifts Perform maintenance on production equipment, tools, overhead doors, and walk-in doors Maintain the plants water system and emergency sprinkler system Fabricate tools and fixtures to support departmental operationsWhat You Need to Be Successful: Education or hands-on experience in a related field is a strong asset Knowledge and experience in a manufacturing or production environment is an asset Physically able to perform the demands of the job, including bending, twisting, stretching, kneeling, squatting, pushing/pulling, lifting up to 50 lbs., standing and walking for extended periods, working in confined spaces, and at heights Strong attention to detail with a focus on maintaining quality Well-developed communication skills, both verbal and written Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team Demonstrated ability to perform effectively in a high-volume, multi-tasking environmentBenefitsOn the job training (experience preferred but willing to train)This position offers a starting wage of $18.92 per hour.
