Job DescriptionJob DescriptionOverview:We are seeking a dedicated Safety Manager to join our team. The Safety Manager will be responsible for overseeing and implementing safety protocols to ensure a safe and secure work environment.Responsibilities:- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures - Conduct regular safety inspections and audits - Provide safety training development for employees - Investigate accidents and incidents, performing root cause analysis - Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including OSHA, EPA, and Workers Compensation laws - Manage workers compensation claims and return-to-work programs - Maintain occupational health programs - Collaborate with management to create a culture of safety awareness - Conduct safety meetings and drills- Ensure employee completion and submission of daily Job Safety Analysis forms. - Monitor EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) performance- Issue, track and verify usage of Personal Protective Equipment among all company employeesRequirements:- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field (preferred)- Certified Safety Manager Certificate, - Certification in CPR and First Aid-OSHA 30 Hour Certification-OSHA 511 Certification (preferred) - Proven experience in safety management - In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and standards - Familiarity with Workers Compensation laws - Strong understanding of root cause analysis techniques - Excellent communication and leadership skills-Professional demeanor and efficacy.-Bilingual (English and Spanish)This position offers competitive compensation and benefits.
