When railroad lumber comes off the machine, it buttons up to a different machine. The candidate hits a button on the machine and stamps two metal plates on the end of the railroad lumber.ResponsibilitiesOperate end plating machines for railroad lumber.Stamp metal plates on the end of the railroad lumber using the machine.Ensure the machine buttons up correctly to the next machine.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in general labor, counting, farming, construction, roofing, landscaping, or production line work.Why Work Here?Join a dedicated team with a consistent work schedule. The work environment can be smelly and dusty. You will be working with 2 to 3 other people. The dress code includes a hard hat, vest, glasses, gloves, sleeves, and uniforms, all provided except for steel-toed boots.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Onalaska, Wisconsin.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
