You will love to work at our new counter, which features 19 ice cream flavors to scoop, a vibrant and busy take-out service, seating our guests, answering the telephone, and helping out where needed. If you are starting in the hospitality business, this is a fabulous opportunity to earn great tips!Essential Job Duties: include the following; other duties may be assigned:Greets all guests appropriately and assists them efficiently and effectivelySeat customers accordingly to the table rotationHelps clean tables and reset place settingsUses Point of Sale (POS) to ring in To-Go ordersWorks closely with the Restaurant Manager to manage waitlistsTakes orders on the telephone as well as answers and transfers callsStock supplies in the counter areaServes ice creamKeeps counters clean at all timesPicks up To-Go orders from the kitchenSkills and Qualifications:Team playerHonest and dependableStrong critical thinking and time management skillsOrganized and detail-orientedCommitment to working hard and being reliableCash Handling skillsValued Experience/Education:High school diploma or GED preferred (but ok if you are still in school!)Experience in the customer service field is preferred but not required.Physical Demands and Work Environment: The physical demands described here represent those that an employee must meet to perform the essential functions of this job successfully.
