Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob DescriptionEssential Functions:Cleans and maintains floors in buildings and facilities, including tasks like stripping, waxing, and polishing.Notifies managers of any needed repairs or maintenance in building systems related to floor care.Establishes and maintains effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, supervisors, and managers.Adheres to all safety, compliance, and quality standards set by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities.Must be flexible and willing to complete all assigned tasks related to floor care and maintenance.Responsibilities:Cleans building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming. Uses chemical cleaners and power equipment properly to prevent damage to floors.Strips, seals, finishes, and polishes floors using the appropriate techniques and equipment.Mixes water and detergents or other cleaning agents to prepare cleaning solutions as per specifications.Cleans and vacuums carpeted areas, including the application of spot treatment when needed.Gathers and empties trash, ensuring a clean and tidy environment.Keeps janitorial supplies well-stocked and maintains equipment in good working order.Services and cleans restrooms and other common areas as needed.Monitors building safety by ensuring areas are clean and hazard-free.Miscellaneous duties as assigned related to floor and facility cleanliness.
