Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescriptionSeeking a skilled extrusion operator to operated extrusion machines. Perform set ups and change overs Perform in-process quality checks on products RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION - CORE: To support the vision, mission and guiding principles of the company. While performing any procedure, all associates and contract personnel must observe applicable Safety, Health, and Environmental rules and guidelines. The use of appropriate personal protective equipment is required. Attend and participate in training opportunities and seminars relevant to this position. Adhere to appropriate company operating procedures, benefit rules, employment policies and safety policies. Frequent contact with Associates outside of the department. Occasional contact with Management outside of the department. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION - PRODUCTION: Ensures production is in accordance with proper procedures and methods. Sees that certain controls, such as thickness, length, and width checks are accomplished in accordance with established procedure. Regularly inspects the quality of the work produced. Processes daily paperwork. Assists on special projects to develop new processes, equipment, and/or product. Responsible for maintaining high standards of safety and housekeeping. Performs packaging and shipping function from warehouse 80. Alerts supervisor of needs and problems.
