Our team is dedicated to ensuring our customers receive the products they need to achieve their scientific goals quickly, reliably, and safely.ResponsibilitiesWork safely following all safety requirements.Work diligently following work instruction documents and standard operating procedures.Use strong attention to detail to assemble products following guidelines, blueprints, and drawings closely.Record correct and accurate documentation in Production Control Documents.Inspect in-process and finished products as well as package and pull from archives for product sampling.Actively participate in PPI (Practical Process Improvements), Lean, and Continuous Improvement activities, including 5S activities.Assist in training co-workers.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Up to 6 months of work experience in manufacturing/production is preferred.Ability to read and follow both written and oral instructions.Strong attention to detail.Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Ability to infrequently lift and manipulate up to 40 pounds unassisted.Ability to stand and move about, including reaching, bending, stooping, grasping, pushing, pulling, and repetitive motion.Ability to use PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and understand chemical hygiene, including labels and SDS (Safety Data Sheets).Flexibility and willingness to adapt to operational changes.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.Ability to work in a fast-paced, controlled environment with additional overtime as required.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in packaging, general production, cleanroom, general labor, assembly, machine operation, customer service, warehouse, and forklift is beneficial.Why Work Here?We offer a culture that empowers your development and provides continual growth and learning opportunities. Specific PPE is required, including gloves, hair/beard net, safety glasses, and no makeup/jewelry. Employees are required to stand regularly and may need to work additional overtime as required. Shifts available are 1st shift (6:00 am - 4:30 pm) and 2nd shift (4:00 pm - 2:30 am).Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract-to-Hire position based out of Miami, Oklahoma.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $15.95 - $15.95/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
