In addition to hands-on work installing insulation and air sealing in attics and basements, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring projects are completed on time and to the highest standards, and providing guidance and support to less experienced team members.This is an ideal role for someone with a solid trades background who is ready to take on more responsibility, manage a team, and continue making a tangible difference in peoples lives through energy-efficient home improvements.What Were Looking ForWere looking for someone who is both a skilled technician and a natural leader. If you have a passion for coaching and developing team members, we want to hear from you!Key ResponsibilitiesLead a Team: Supervise and support a team of technicians, ensuring high-quality work and on-time project completionHands-On Installation: Perform energy efficiency services such as insulation and air sealing in attics, basements, and other areas of the homeMentor and Train: Provide training, guidance, and feedback to less experienced technicians to help them grow in their rolesProject Management: Ensure projects are completed according to company standards, on schedule, and within budgetCustomer Interaction: Communicate directly with homeowners to ensure satisfaction and address any concernsSafety and Quality Control: Ensure all work is performed safely, with attention to detail and adherence to quality standardsAdministrative Duties: Track job progress, report on team performance, and maintain accurate recordsQualificationsAt least 3-5 years of experience in residential energy efficiency or a related trade (such as insulation, or general construction)Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferredStrong understanding of home construction, building science, and energy efficiency techniquesExcellent communication skills and ability to lead by exampleAbility to manage a team, ensure accountability, and provide constructive feedbackComfortable working in a variety of environments and weather conditionsPhysical Requirements:Ability to climb ladders and work in tight spacesAbility to regularly lift and carry up to 35 lbs., occasionally up to 50 lbs.Ability to wear a respiratorOther RequirementsValid Class C drivers licenseCompensation and BenefitsWage: $30/hour and up, based on experience, performance bonus up to $12K per yearHiring Bonus: $1000Benefits:Health Insurance (Evergreen covers 100% of premium price for employee)Company-matched IRAPaid time offOpportunities for professional development and career growthWork ScheduleFull-time, typically 40 hours per weekMonday Friday, traditional construction hoursOur Hiring ProcessSubmit your application and resumeIf selected, you will be contacted for a phone interviewQualified candidates will be invited for an in-person interviewAt Evergreen Home Performance, we pride ourselves on fostering an employee-focused, growth-oriented workplace.
