Providing service support to customers both over the phone and by traveling to the customer locations and job sites. This includes, but is not limited to, troubleshooting equipment issues, demonstrating and commissioning new units, and servicing existing units at customer locations2.) Coordinating the shipping and receiving process, including accurate packaging of outbound orders, receipt of incoming merchandise (including coordinating shipments and deliveries with other internal departments) and maximizing productivity through the streamlining of shipping merchandise to customers (internal and external).The Service & Parts Support Lead will identify IDX products by researching existing customer machines using a database of machines and parts.What does the Service & Parts Support Lead do at Integral dx?Provides phone support to customers experiencing equipment issuesTravels to customer's locations (up to 14 days per month) for demonstrations, commissioning new equipment, and/or servicing existing equipmentRequisitions transportation from freight carriers to ship plant productsReads shipping orders to determine quantity and type of transportation neededCoordinates and instructs the loading and shipping of products with carrier representativesAnnotates shipping orders to inform shipping department of loading location and time of arrival of transportationCoordinates delivery of purchased items to the correct departmentMaintains an organized structure that facilitates ease of parts location as assigned by either project or departmentReceives and inspects ordered merchandise, checking for correct quantities, item damage, correct quantities, back orders, etc.Stocks merchandise on shelves, handling paperwork for order receipts and product returnsAssists team with physical inventoryAssists the internal assembly department lead person when shipping and receiving volume is lowWhat are we looking for in a quality Service & Parts Support Lead?Able to read and understand written information, identify problems, and review informationAbility to read electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematicsFamiliarity with exploded parts drawingsExperience troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systemsEffective technical communication skills with engineering and management audiencesWillingness to follow existing quality-control and safety processesStrong math and problem-solving skills Forklift truck experienceStrong computer skillsHigh School Diploma or general education degree (GED) is usually not requiredOR Any combination of education and experience that would provide the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be acceptable.PHYSICAL DEMANDSLift 50 poundsStand for 3 hours plus per daySit for extended periods through the dayThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this position.
