No Weekends!Job DetailsJob Details:We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and experienced Fire Alarm Technician - NICET IV to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in the construction industry, with a specific focus on fire alarm systems. With a high level of technical expertise, the candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and compliance of our projects, providing expert advice and guidance on fire alarm systems. This role demands a strong understanding of fire alarm devices, project management skills, and a proven track record in installation and maintenance of fire alarm systems.Responsibilities:1. Perform detailed evaluations of fire alarm systems in various stages of construction, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.2. Provide expert consultation on the design, installation, programming, and maintenance of fire alarm systems.3. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all are completed on time and within budget.4. Conduct regular inspections and testing of fire alarm systems to ensure optimal functionality.5. Identify potential issues and provide effective, innovative solutions to complex problems.6. Collaborate with construction teams, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful integration of fire alarm systems into overall project plans.7. Provide training and guidance to junior technicians, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.8. Stay updated with the latest advancements in fire alarm technology, applying this knowledge to improve our services and operations.9. Prepare comprehensive reports detailing the status of fire alarm systems, including any issues identified and actions taken.Qualifications:1. Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in fire alarm systems within the construction industry.2. Must hold a valid NICET IV certification in Fire Alarm Systems.3. Proven experience in managing multiple projects, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.4. Extensive knowledge of fire alarm devices, including their installation, programming, and maintenance.5. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively.6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear, understandable manner.7. Must be a team player, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.8. Proficient in the use of relevant software, including CAD and project management tools.9. Must be willing to travel to various project sites as needed.10.
