Join us in shaping the future of health care and making a meaningful impact at Description: Were seeking an experienced pharmacy technician to join our team at Appling Healthcare System in Baxley, GA.The ideal candidate is someone who works well in a team environment, detail-oriented, and willing to assist where necessary. We offer a competitive pay rate, with potential adjustments based on experience and qualifications, as well as the opportunity for advancement, employee recognition, and team collaboration.Essential Duties/Responsibilities:Assists the pharmacist in providing medication, drug information, and pharmaceutical services to patients, nurses, physicians and other hospital personnelReceives and stores incoming deliveries of medication and suppliesDemonstrates an ability to calculate figures and amounts relating to dosage calculations when filling various prescriptions ranging from the newborn to the elderly populationsMaintains inventory of supplies in pharmacy and other departments and reorders them accordinglyAnswers the phone and communicates effectively with hospital staff as directed by the pharmacistPerforms tasks related to sterile compounding, including but not limited to clean room training, cleaning, and maintaining the spacePrepares and delivers medications to designated locations based on end-user needMaintains stock in the automated dispensing cabinetPosition Requirements:High school diploma or equivalentCurrent pharmacy technician licensure in the applicable state(s)All experience levels consideredSchedule Details:32hrs/weekMon-Fri 8am-4pmTop advantages: As a team member at PharmD on Demand, youll enjoy:Comprehensive benefits packageGrowth opportunitiesSocial eventsWork-life balancePositive work environment
