Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDIRECT HIRE | SHIPPING & RECEIVING MANAGER | Parsons/Pittsburg, KS areaA great opportunity to step into a supervisory role as a Shipping and Receiving Manager in Southeast KS, where you can lead efficient logistics operations and drive process improvements.Anticipate $70K (+/-)Full suite of benefits, holidays, PTOShift: Choice of 6 AM - 3 PM or 7 AM - 4 PMPrimary Responsibilities and Duties:Manage the shipping and receiving processes, including receiving, verifying, and transacting incoming goods, and preparing outgoing shipments.Oversee a team of two direct reports: a shipping and receiving clerk and a laborer/forklift operator.Collaborate with other departments, such as production and commodities, to ensure smooth workflow.Drive process improvements and cost savings through KPI tracking and analysis, focusing on dock-to-stock time, on-time delivery percentages, and freight spend.Key Qualifications and Skills:Strong work ethic and positive attitude.Experience in a manufacturing facility setting to understand process flow.4-7+ years of experience working with an ERP system (D365 preferred, but not required).Proficiency in ExcelAbility to collaborate effectively with team members.Experience with KPIs (dock-to-stock time, on-time delivery, freight spend).Ability to manage invoices.Openness to backup work for pick pack supervisor.Ideal Level of Experience:Early career professional with the right work ethic is ideal.Preferred but not required; 3+ years of experience in a relevant role (supervisor or manager)Experience in a manufacturing setting is desired.Experience with ERP systems and KPIs is essential.Willingness to work collaboratively with a team.EEO
