Mill Operator - Rubber Industry

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Summary:We are seeking skilled Mill Operators to join our rubber manufacturing team in Celina, Ohio. This role involves operating and maintaining Cracker Mills, Finishing Mills, and other rubber processing equipment to produce high-quality products such as rubber mud flaps, plastic extrusion units, pipes, hoses, and other rubber-based components.Key Responsibilities:Operate and monitor Cracker Mills, Finishing Mills, extruders, and calendaring machines.Set up machines according to production specifications and quality standards.Ensure proper mixing, blending, and processing of rubber and plastic materials.Perform quality checks and inspections to meet product specifications.Adjust machine settings to optimize production efficiency.Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.Assist with troubleshooting equipment issues and performing minor maintenance.Collaborate with the production team to meet daily targets.Requirements:Experience: 3+ years in manufacturing, preferably in rubber processing, plastic extrusion, or related industries.Skills:Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical specifications.Experience operating rubber processing machinery, including Cracker Mills and Finishing Mills.Basic knowledge of measuring tools and quality control procedures.Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred).Physical Requirements:Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat and noise.Benefits:Competitive pay401(k) planPaid time offStable, full-time employment in a growing industrySchedule:Monday to Friday8-10-hour shifts (1st & 2nd shifts available)Overtime opportunities may be availableIf you have experience with rubber processing equipment and are looking for a stable, well-paying opportunity, we encourage you to apply!
