Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescription:Position: Maintenance TechnicianLocation: Berlin, CT Schedule: Monday to Friday 6:30am to 3:00pmCompensation: Negotiable based on experience/fair market valueEmployment Type: Full-Time, Direct HireBenefits offered to you:Paid Time Off including holidays and vacationHealth, Dental, and Vision insurance2 Health Plan Options - One with fully reimbursed deductible!Flexible Spending AccountDependent Care Reimbursement Account401(k) with company matchCompany provided group life insurance and AD&DCompany provided short-term disability coverageOptional long-term disability coverageOptional Cancer Insurance and Extended Illness InsuranceEmployee Referral BonusesPurpose & Scope: This role is responsible for performing maintenance and repair on all plastic injection molding machinery and equipment including robots, chillers, thermolators and hot running systems.Essential Duties May Include:Repairing, troubleshooting, and inspecting all mechanical, electrical, electro-mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipmentPerforming preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance on machines and robots according to specificationsRegularly checking heater bands, rings and pulling screws / barrelsSafely utilizing the proper equipment to access jobs to both remove and install partsRequirements:Five plus (5+) years of maintenance and preventative maintenance experience of Plastic Injection Molding Machinery and peripheral equipment (required).Ability to follow established procedures, read blueprints and maintain accurate records.Understanding of auxiliary, electrical, and hydraulic equipment, robots and machines.Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.Physical Demands of position:Ability to work in loud manufacturing environmentOccasional need to bend, squat, climb, grasp, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs.PI7965943c9934-25405-36630209
