We share our Unity Experience with all.Position Summary: The Senior Credit Analyst is responsible for performing complex credit analysis, which may include commercial and agricultural credits. This position will also provide mentorship to support the growth and development of the Credit Analysts.Responsibilities/Accountabilities:Loan Analysis: Prepare written loan presentations with thorough, in-depth, written analysis of financial statements of complex commercial and agricultural credits. Assess risk and recommend risk rating changes when analysis merits. Review loan covenants and determine compliance with loan agreements.Credit Files: Ensure that all credit files are complete, identify any document deficiencies, and partner with the lending team to provide technical advice and other assistance as needed.Loan Policy: Maintain an active knowledge of the Banks loan policy and make recommendations for updates and improvements to enhance the customer experience and maintain Bank best practices.Mentorship: Provide mentoring and technical support to Credit Analysts; partnering to further their knowledge, development, and training.Reporting: Provide periodic reporting to senior management, loan committees, and the board of directors as requested.Committee Participation: Routinely attend and actively participate in loan committee meetings.Government Loan Programs: Maintain a working knowledge of available government lending programs used to mitigate risk to the Bank (SBA, FSA, state programs, etc.)Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, privacy policies, industry standards, and internal policies and procedures.Market Research: Stay up to date on market data, research industry specific information from outside sources including conversations with the borrower, industry publications, reference from other banks, online research, credit agencies, etc.Customer Connection: Attend customer meetings as requested to learn more about the business operations.Special Assets: Partner, as requested, to manage delinquencies, workouts, collections, and foreclosure activities.Niche Lending: May specialize in niche lending program underwriting.Education and Experience:Bachelors degree in business, finance, or accounting or equivalent.Five (5) or more years of credit analysis experience.Banking industry experience preferredUnity Bank is an Equal Opportunity EmployerBenefits: 401(k), 401(k) matching, Dental insurance, Disability insurance, Employee assistance program, Health insurance, Health savings account, Life insurance, Paid time off, Referral program, Vision insurance.Supplemental Pay: Bonus PayWorking Conditions: Bank/office environment, secure, comfortable working conditions.
