Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Title: Parts ExpeditorJob DescriptionAs a Parts Expeditor, you will be responsible for receiving and managing the flow of internal parts from various departments. This includes picking parts and kitting jobs before delivery to the next cell, transporting kitted parts between departments, and creating and maintaining a shortage list. You will forecast required inventory for upcoming projects and communicate inventory needs to the Inventory Lead. Utilizing the company's ERP system, you will manage inventory data, close completed job tickets, and understand the flow of parts to ensure timely delivery of materials.ResponsibilitiesReceive and manage the flow of internal parts from various departments.Pick parts and kit jobs prior to delivery to the next cell.Transport kitted parts between departments.Create and maintain a shortage list.Forecast required inventory for upcoming projects.Communicate inventory needs to the Inventory Lead.Use the companys ERP system to manage inventory data.Close completed job tickets.Understand job tickets and flow of parts to ensure timely material delivery.Manage stocked inventory, including bin locations and stocking rules.Conduct keep-fill inventory activities.Package and label products and parts with inventory tags for easy identification.Essential SkillsHigh attention to detail.Basic computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Excel.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Experience working on feet and walking extensively.Minimum of 6 months experience in a warehouse role, including order picking, inventory tracking, stocking, kitting, material handling, and using an ERP system.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with ERP systems.Strong critical thinking skills.Experience in kitting, picking, or material handling.Why Work Here?Join a growing company with a promote-from-within culture and flexible scheduling options. Approximately 50 people work across various departments in the shop. The shift offers flexibility in start time, typically a four-day, 10-hour schedule, with potential for overtime, averaging 40-50 hours per week.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $24.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
