Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSalary: $24.00/hr.PALCO Power Systems, a West Virginia distributor of Rehlko, is seeking an experienced Maintenance and Repair Service Technician for Industrial generators throughout West Virginia.M-F 7:30 am-4:30 pm, but may require on-call for nights and weekends.Responsibilities:Must be 21 years of age for insurance purposes.Must have 3 to 5 years of previous power systems experienceMust have your toolsGreat customer service skillsMust be a self-starter and reliableGreat team playerUnderstand and have a working knowledge of automatic start and stop controls, safety shutdowns, switch gear, circuit breakers, and control panels preferredIndependently and successfully diagnose, repair, rebuild, and maintain diesel and natural gas enginesPerformed work on generators and component parts in various environments and working conditionsSafely assemble and disassemble equipment and component parts according to the manufacturer's specificationsAccurately complete service reports and provide the details to complete work orders, load bank reports, ATS inspection sheets, etc., in accordance with NFPA 110 Level 1 requirements as well as with OFLACBasic computer skills are requiredRequirements:Must have 1 year of ATS experienceMust submit a background check and drug testingOverview:Founded in 1946 in the city of Greensburg, PA, Scott Electric Company is one of the largest independent electrical distributors in the United States, and has grown into a thriving business with storefront locations throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland, Ohio, and West Virginia.
