Cost Accountant

Prepare and analyze financial reports, including budget forecasts and variance analyses. Conduct month-end close processes, including reconciling accounts and reviewing general ledger entries. Collaborate with various departments to develop and monitor budgets and financial plans. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies in all financial practices. Utilize ERP systems and accounting software to streamline data management and reporting. Generate detailed reports using tools such as Crystal Reports to support decision-making processes. Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner. Provide insights and recommendations to improve cost efficiency and operational effectiveness. Assist in audits and ensure readiness for internal and external financial reviews. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Proven experience in cost accounting or a similar financial role. Proficiency in accounting software systems and ERP platforms, such as Epicor. Strong knowledge of budgeting, general ledger management, and financial reporting. Experience with Crystal Reports or similar reporting tools. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and collaboration skills for working across departments.
