Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our growing team as an Entry-Level Right of Way Specialist. This role is perfect for recent graduates or those looking to launch a career in right of way acquisition or public infrastructure. You'll learn from industry experts, gain exposure to high-impact projects, and build your expertise in property acquisition, project coordination, and regulatory compliance.DescriptionProperty acquisition: assist with the acquisition of property rights for infrastructure development projects.Research & documentation: conduct research on property records, deeds, and titles to support right of way needs.Negotiation support: learn to communicate with property owners, address their concerns, and support negotiation processes.Compliance & record-keeping: ensure compliance with Wisconsin and federal eminent domain laws, WisDOT guidelines, and internal policies.Project support: assist project managers with day-to-day coordination, document tracking, and reporting.Plats & plans: learn to interpret and analyze highway plats, plans, profiles, and cross sections.QualificationsStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to learn to read and understand plats, maps, and construction plans.Ability to learn to prepare legal documents for property owners.Ability to learn to interpret and explain a plan to a property owner.Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and document tracking tools.Willingness to learn and grow in a cooperative, team-oriented environment.Excellent communication skills.Valid driver's license and ability to provide own means of travel in Wisconsin as needed.Physical RequirementsAbility to lift at least 25lbs.Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computerWorking ConditionsRemote/HybridOccasional travel required for meetings, training, and eventsIf you are a career-oriented and highly motivated individual interested in being part of a growing firm, we want to hear from you!
