Radiac is a TYROLIT Company that is owned by the Swarovski Group which is headquartered in Schwaz, Austria.Radiac Abrasives, Inc.is looking for a Production Supervisor to join our Salem, Illinois team to manage the productivity and quality of a production team to achieve target goals, productivity and safety standards. Additionally, employees are eligible for PTO, and holiday pay. Annual Salary Range for this position is $70,000 to $95,000 and is eligible for a 5% bonus based on plant metrics, which is prorated based on hire date. Responsibilities:Responsible for managing a production team ensuring productivity standards are achieved ensuring the smooth running of the production processes.Ensure quality specifications are met for all product produced.Have a strong machining and mechanical ability to trouble shoot problems independently Ensure that all team members can identify root causes and take fast effective action to resolve problems.Manage, develop and motivate direct reporting staff ensuring expectations are met.Monitor, measure and report on production related process performance, general issues.Ensure good communication is given either verbally or written to all members of staff.Ensure that Health and Safety rules and regulations are followed.Work closely with other Supervisors to ensure production workflow through effective communications tools.Ensure that the training skills are met.Use lean methodology to improve the production throughput.Play an active role in the companies continuous improvement plan to achieve plans for future growth within the company.Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and safe workplace.All other duties as assigned. The right person must have:Minimum of 4 years managing and leading people in a manufacturing production environment. Manufacturing degree or equivalent experience.Working knowledge of 5S, Six sigma, Lean manufacturing principles, and Root cause and corrective action.Powered by JazzHRFnera5pTQf
