Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJOB FUNCTION:As a Mechanic, you are responsible for the maintenance, installation, and cleaning of portable sanitation equipment such as sleep trailers, shower trailers, restroom trailers, and shower trailers at the shop or in the field.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Mechanics conduct routine maintenance and repairs on sleep trailers, restroom trailers, and shower trailersAC Maintenance on refrigerator trailersWork with PEX plumbing - installation and repair of this type of plumbingWork with schedule 40 and schedule 80 plumbing - installation and repair of this type of plumbingInstallation and repair of general plumbing itemsRepair and maintenance of LP gas systemsInstallation, repair and troubleshooting of general 110-volt and 12-volt electrical itemsConduct daily inspections while cleaning portable equipment, service vehicles and report deficiencies to Service Supervisor or Director of Operations. Also report improper operation, faulty equipment, and unusual conditionsDrive service vehicles (pulling bumper pull trailers or driving truck only)Maintain contact with logistics to receive additional instructions, changes to deliveries going outMechanics follow the Companys safety guidelines, properly securing equipment to appropriate vehicle/equipment.
