Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAbout the RoleThe Maintenance Manager plays a critical leadership role by overseeing all aspects of facility and equipment maintenance in a manufacturing environment. This position ensures optimal performance of machinery, drives preventive and predictive maintenance efforts, and leads a team of maintenance professionals to support continuous production operations. The role requires hands-on technical expertise, strong project management skills, and a commitment to safety and operational excellence.Responsibilities:Lead and manage the maintenance team to ensure production equipment operates efficiently and safelyPlan, implement, and monitor routine preventive and predictive maintenance programsDiagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systemsConduct root cause analysis for equipment failures and implement corrective actionsOversee installation and modification of mechanical and electrical equipmentMaintain and utilize maintenance management software to track work orders and equipment historyEnsure compliance with all safety protocols and regulatory standardsManage maintenance inventory, tools, and supplies to support operational needsRead and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical manualsSupport capital projects and perform special facility maintenance tasks as assignedCoordinate with production and department leaders to prioritize maintenance needsTrain and mentor maintenance staff to uphold high technical and safety standardsPerform basic administrative tasks, including purchasing parts and maintaining maintenance recordsAct as backup supervisor when the Maintenance Manager is unavailableQualifications:Minimum 5 years of mechanical and electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environmentAt least 3 years of supervisory or managerial experience in maintenanceProficient in troubleshooting PLCs, electrical circuits, motors, relays, disconnects, and fusesStrong understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics, and industrial mechanical systemsAbility to perform and lead preventative and predictive maintenance activitiesSkilled in using maintenance software and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering diagramsExcellent verbal and written communication skills in EnglishStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsDesired Qualifications:Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering, or a related fieldCertification in electrical, mechanical, or industrial maintenanceExperience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement processesFamiliarity with OSHA regulations and workplace safety complianceExperience managing capital projects and equipment installations
