Job DescriptionJob DescriptionMinimum 1+ years teaching experience required.Elementary Music TeacherSoliant is hiring in Davenport, NebraskaWe are pleased to announce that we are now accepting applications for a full-time permanent Elementary Music Teacher.United States Work Authorization is Required without VISA SponsorshipResponsibilities: Effectively act as the head of instruction for an elementary school music program, teaching and engaging students in music theory and the application of playing instruments. Remain current on contemporary and traditional trends in vocal and musical education techniques.Develop course curriculum aligned to learning standards, create lesson plans with defined learning objectives, and provide support to students in and out of class.Establish and maintain procedural documentation for all students in the class, including information related to grading, attitude, attendance, etc.municate proactively with the department chair, division head, student-dean, colleagues, parents, and others as necessary concerning student engagement and performance.Teach students about fundamental music concepts, including but not limited to music theory, rhythm, melody, pitch, tempo, history, appreciation, harmony, and ensemble.Instruct, aide, and support students in learning, advancing, and being proficient in playing various instruments.Engage with students daily and foster a safe, interactive learning environment.Provide students with the opportunity to join ensembles including band, choir, and musicals.Evaluate each students progression within their assigned instrument and their overall contribution to the musical group.Maintain responsibility and care for all school-owned musical instruments and other property.Position Details:Type: Full-Time (40.00 hours per week)Term: Permanent pensation: Based on experience and education, Salary District ScheduleBenefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, AD&D, 401k Match, CEU Reimbursement, and PTO Education and Licensing Requirements:Active State of Nebraska Teachers Licensure with endorsements in musicWilling to accept new grads or those eligible for a license (Requirement 2).Hold a bachelors degree or higher in any field.To setup an interview please apply with your resume or reach out directly by calling the human resources specialist, Dalton Beck at .
