Almers Construction Inc. in Tioga, ND is currently seeking a Pipefitter to join our team.Pay: starting at $28/hr depending on experienceBenefits:BlueCross BlueShield of ND Medical InsuranceDelta Dentalcompetitive payFR allowancePossible Housing AvailabilityHours: 50+ hours per week (weekends when required) Job Responsibilities:Reporting to the Foreman, you will install, troubleshoot, and maintain underground gas and oil distribution piping systems in a safe manner, completing tasks promptlyConstruct, install, and maintain piping systems, and equipment for natural gas utilitiesJoin piping by means of fusion, electrofusion, mechanical coupled joints or welded fittingsVerify specifications by performing quality assurance testsLoad and unload equipment and materials; keep worksite clean and organized free from unnecessary hazardsMaintain all industry required Operator QualificationsPerform other tasks as requested by leadershipWork sites are outdoors in potentially extreme weather conditionsEnsure your utilities are locatedSupport crew with handling and fusing pipe, rigging and setting pipe, bolt up and hydrotestingFuse pipe that is ditched, above ground or drilled in the groundEnsure every fuse meets quality standards and Inspector improvedKeep tools in complete working order / Fusing machines / Data loggerManage inventory on the truckTeach other employees how to fuse pipe to the correct specsKeep worksite clean and organized, free from unnecessary hazardsPerform other duties as required and/or assignedQualifications:Prior experience as a Pipefitter in the oil and gas industryAbility to lift heavy objects and work in all types of weather conditionsStrong work ethic and willingness to learnValid driver's license and reliable transportationHigh school diploma or its equivalentMust be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol testWhy Join Us:At Almers Construction Inc., we prioritize the safety and well-being of our employees.
