Job DescriptionJob DescriptionOur office is expanding and we are looking to hire the right individual to join our outstanding customer service team. We are currently seeking to fulfill a full-time position. Our Customer Service Representative will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our current clients and new prospects, quoting rates, processing applications,processing policy change requests, maintaining knowledge of our products, cross selling to existing clients,and answering any questions our clients may have.Insurance industry or office experience and knowledge is not required but would be a greater benefit relating to customers in the beginning for this position.Insurance licenses are required, but we can help you get licensed.Must be able to pass a background check.BenefitsAnnual Base Salary + CommissionPaid Time Off (PTO)Mon-Fri ScheduleRetirement PlanResponsibilitiesProcess customer policy change requests.Handle all incoming claim calls from customers.Document each customer contact in eAgent.Treat each customer contact as a cross and up-sell opportunity including financial products.Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating and compliance requirements.Foster strong relationships with our customers to maintain a high level of client retention and product loyalty.Presents and explains insurance policy options based upon prospective client needs and their personalgoals.RequirementsPossess an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude.Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up.Excellent Communication/interpersonal skills.Professional phone etiquette.Ability to tactfully handle stressful and difficult situations.Be able to obtain or currently possess a Property & Casualty insurance license.Ability to obtain or possess an active Life & Health Insurance license.Bilingual preferred.
